About Tiny File Tools

Tiny File Tools is a browser-based toolkit for PDF, image, Office, and data file tasks. I'm the developer behind Tiny File Tools, and I got tired of bloated PDF tools that slowed simple jobs down.

The goal is simple: you arrive, do the file job, download the result, and leave. No signup, no upsell, and no data kept longer than needed to generate the output.

Tiny File Tools is based in South Africa and built to work well for users across Africa, and globally.

How files are handled

Files you upload are processed in a temporary folder and deleted automatically after your download is prepared. The normal cleanup window is around 15 minutes. Nothing is stored, shared, or used for any purpose other than creating your output file. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Who it's for

The site is built for students, job seekers, small business owners, admin and HR staff, operations teams, freelancers, and anyone who handles everyday document and file work and just needs it done quickly without desktop software.

File limits

  • PDFs and documents: up to 25MB per file, up to 25 files per batch.
  • Images: up to 10MB per file.
  • All tools are free with no account required.

What the tools do well

Short upload-to-download workflows for standard file tasks. The tools are honest about limitations, so pages that use a simplified or text-first conversion say so clearly rather than overpromising.

What the tools don't do

These tools are not replacements for Adobe Acrobat, full desktop OCR software, or professional publishing tools. Complex scans, pixel-perfect layout recreation, and advanced editing workflows belong in a dedicated desktop application.
